To restart your campaign in ARMA Reforger Overthrow you must do the following:
Overthrow folder in My Documents\My Games\Arma Reforger\profile\.db. This is the default location of the "profile" folder. This location may vary if you specify a specific profile folder.If you are using a game-server hosting provider you should contact their support if you cannot locate your "profile" folder.
Overthrow saves your progress automatically every 10 minutes and when exiting the scenario or shutting down your server. In addition to this, officers can manually save the game.
Overthrow Reforger does not currently work in SP (Single Player) on Xbox. There is currently no way to provide a persistent save on Xbox in the base ArmA Reforger game. Bohemia Interactive has so far provided no ETA on when something will be available to address this. Please do not ask for an update on this feature on the official Overthrow Discord or this GitHub repository.
You can help by contacting them on the ArmA Discord, Twitter, etc so they will give this priority. They also have a Feedback Tracker located here: https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/profile/66/
In the meantime, you can still join any of the cross-play-enabled public Overthrow servers by searching for "Overthrow" in the server browser. You can also host your own server via Steam on a PC or by renting a server from a provider (we recommend armahosts.com, NITRADO, and Bacon).
Overthrow uses a system called "Enfusion Persistence Framework" to save/load. This feature will eventually be included in the base game but there is no ETA for this. Until then there will be some inconsistencies with the items that will actually be persistent. We recommend placing your most important items in an equipment box before logging out as this will usually work a lot better than keeping it in your inventory.
First, you should determine if the issue happens with a base game scenario and not just with hosting Overthrow (including while not using extra mods). If you have issues related to client connections, etc. you should checkout the official ArmA Discord or forums for help instead of the Overthrow Discord.
If the issue is specific to the Overthrow scenario, then the Overthrow Discord would be the appropriate place under the #reforger-support channel.
Yes. Any feature that is in Reforger will be added to Overthrow eventually, where applicable to Overthrow. These are not things we can just "switch on" they need to be developed and integrated into the gameplay properly. See the Github for details of what is currently planned.
You cannot sell weapons. It does not make sense that the gun dealer would buy enemy weapons from the resistance (their only customer). The aim of the game mode is to acquire weapons and use them to defeat the occupying forces. This will make more sense when AI recruiting is added into the game as you will use those weapons to arm civilians and join the fight.
You cannot replenish stock of the gun dealers. Stores will replenish slowly every 24 hrs in game time but gun dealers will not. However, there are gun dealers in every town and city so just go to a different one. Once you reach Trade level 5 you are able to import unlimited guns and other illegal goods at ports.
